Flagstaff Hill, Bowen

Good views from Flagstaff Hill in Bowen. Views from Rose Bay, along the expanse of Kings Beach, across to the lighthouse on North Head Island, Stony Island, Gloucester Island back to the Marina, and across town, you will feel like you're on top of the world. Binoculars and a look-out tower ensure the best view in the Whitsundays.
A few photos from up on Flagstaff Hill.

    1. Most clouds are interesting. Great views up there and at least the view is not hampered by trees.

    1. That's a good idea to take binoculars they do come in handy for seeing in the distance, my husband always takes them.

  9. It does look lovely, but even though it was winter, I can feel humidity in the photos. We have rarely used binoculars in a drawer. I just threw out the case. We never take them anywhere now.

    1. We used binoculars to see the whales up in Mackay last year, apart from that they don't get used here either.
Was a warmish day as the weather was warmer in winter in Bowen than it usually is, yes, so a bit humid..
