First night!

Stayed at Euroa in Victoria for 1st night after having a good sail on the Spirit of Tasmania.
We had to get the chassis checked in Camperwell in Victoria not far out of Melbourne. This took 6 hours waiting time so Euroa was fine for the night.
We parked in a Caravan Park by the Seven Creeks temperature in the evening was 2 degC.
It is here that we discovered one of the pipes underneath the caravan was leaking! Next morning husband was under the caravan to find out the problem - which he fixed after making a trip to the hardware pluming department. Problem was cause by the hoisted when the chassis was serviced.

Sevens Creek at Euroa, Victoria.
Both photos, looking one way then the other way.

There we are after a tiring day.

Sorry the photo is blurred of these two people - I was some distance away on the bridge looking across the River.  I took the photo to show how some people keep warm in Caravan Parks when permitted to have a firepot.

One could walk to the town of Euroa via this bridge.

  1. Not very pleasant when it is very cold. However, warmly dressed and with a firepot nearby, it can be romantic. : ))

    1. Was rather nippy Catarina.
Some people love to sit outside by a firepot or fire, we prefer to sit inside.

Was a lovely seat to sit on and watch people walk over the bridge.

  4. Now I understand why you drove along Toorak Road. The couple in the photo went to some effort to stay warm. We learnt that it takes a very long time for air conditioning to heat up a caravan or campervan.

    1. Takes ages for the caravan reverse cycling to heat up and when it's colder it takes even longer, we have a fan heater which we use in the cold.
We drove down Toorak Road last year on the way to the boat.

  6. This area would have interested me..........close to Nagambie, thoroughbred horse stud country! I think Black Caviar was born in this area.
That creek looks like an ideal spot for a caravan park to adjoin but is it in a flood prone area??
I reckon the mechanical problem was best to have happened there than out in the regions of your travels later on!
    Cheers

    1. Black Caviar was born around the area you mentioned.
Was told not many floods there in that town was one a few years ago.
The pipe shouldn't have leaked 'full stop' but it was due to the chassis people.

  7. A firepot? In 2C weather I wouldn't even be getting out of bed!
Sorry you had to do repairs so son after leaving home, but at least you found the leaking pipe sooner rather than later, like in the middle of nowhere.
Those are some lovely trees around that creek.

    1. Lovely old trees there. A lovely peaceful place also.
We had a fan heater as well as the reverse cycle A/C but used the fan heater. I did some washing and noticed water underneath the caravan, have a handy husband.
