It's nearly Christmas Day!

Merry Christmas to each and everyone who passes this way. Be safe and have a wonderful time.

I'm sharing our city's Christmas Tree.  I borrowed the photo.
A couple of videos, one rather informative regarding the 'firsts' to Launceston, Tasmania, which I found interesting.
Then a Christmas Song, Elvis Presley and Martina McBride followed by
Ray Stevens - 'It's me again Margaret' ( you got to laugh at this one )
and
Jen Lilley with Eric Marstolf singing 'Baby it's cold outside'.
Lastly, a Tasmanian Devil in Costume.

Launceston, Tasmania.  The City of Innovation.

Wineglass Bay, East Coast of Tasmania.

Elvis Presley and Martina McBride singing a
Blue Christmas.

Ray Stevens - It's me again Margaret!
Couldn't resist sharing this song seeing I'm called Margaret sometimes.

Jen Lilley and Eric Martsolf - Baby it's cold outside.
I really like these two singing together.  It's cheerful song.

Tasmanian Devil.

  1. Ohhhh...the comic character Taz was always my fav. I have a few tokens of him about my office, including a mug holding my pens. Never imagined one could be so cute, willing to be dressed up for a photo. Darling.

  10. Holy Hell - I never knew of all the "FIRSTS" that Launceston has. Remarkable.
What a picture perfect place is Wineglass Bay!
I shall NOW be obliged to put Launceston on the top of my "weather reports" - I can now see why you were a bit "miffed" - ha ha!
Nice sleeping weather night here last night - oh to just stay like this till March - wishful dreams I think!
I can see a job in Tasmanian Tourism Authority beckoning.
    Cheers

    1. I told my Quiz ( The Australian paper) mates about the Launceston Turf Club, they were quite delighted that we were all correct on that question
      and now verified by video.

  12. That is the best photo I have ever seen of Wine Glass Bay and the only photo of a Devil that makes one look vaguely friendly. I will listen to the videos later.

Most photos of the Devil make it look ferocious, except in that photo below.

I expect they do in some way resemble a wombat but of course two very different creatures.
