The Spirit of Tasmania

A link {Previous Post 2014} showing photos of the Spirit of Tasmania sailing up the Mersey River at Devonport, Tasmania.

The following photos are of the Burnie area - see map below.  Photos taken a couple of weeks back.
The sea is Bass Strait.

  6. Lovely serene views. I didn't realise how many towns and rivers in Tasmania has anglo names - the Mersey for example. Enjoy your time on the mainland.

    1. Thanks. There are many more towns and rivers with such names in Tasmania. Back when they were named it was usually after a place, river in England, Scotland or Ireland, many having their names changed in later years.
