That time Again!

New glasses for me, one for the computer and the other for everyday.  Don't know how many people reading this wear glasses.  I seem to get 2 new pairs each year.  Never would I imagine myself wearing green/blue glasses, somehow that's all that really was pleasing to my eye and a change from black frames.
No, you don't have to say they are nice, just posting so you can see them.
The brand is Bellinger which is made in Denmark.

Different colour in different light.

  1. Actually, I like the colour a lot. The style is pleasingly retro too. They have a slight shape of Dame Edna about them :)

    1. Thanks re colour, I'm getting used to it when I look in the mirror.
Slight shape to the Dame - well it was hard to find glasses that were not that shape...

  3. I use reading glasses that I buy at the dollar store. Yesterday the frames broke on my next to last pair. Today its off to the dollar store for a couple more pair. I get the 1.75 magnified lens. Lots of people here rely on the dollar store for glasses.

    1. Magnifying glasses, they are good if that's all ones needs...We have those in many shops and chemist down here, they don't cost a lot either.

  4. I wish I didn't wear glasses - I would like to have a really snazzy pair of red glasses but don't have the courage to waste so much money in case I would become bored with them quickly.
I tend to go for ones that are rimless in the vain hopes that they look invisible!!!

    1. Oh Rosemary - I say, go and get your red glasses if you want them and if you do get tired of them by another, we only live once :) my youngest sister in law has red glasses and they look great on her. Rimless ones I have never worn, or even looked at for that matter, to me if you wear glasses that's it....Regards,
      Margaret

  6. I wear reading glasses and this reminds me I need a test again.
I may have to get stronger lens.
I hate the bloody things but unlike dark glasses I somehow manage not to lose
    the reading ones.

    1. When needing only reading glasses it was a pain for my husband, whereby I needed them once to see in the distance and stop my eyes from aching, now I need them for 3 things, plus my prescription sunglasses which for some reason are still working alright.

  7. I wish I didn't have to wear glasses and sometimes in my dreams I don't. I used to wear contacts but my eyes are too dry now. Yours look very nice.

Don't mind wearing glasses, they are a feature of my face and have been for long time now...lots of people wear contacts but of course as they become older not always feasible.

  8. I used to wear glasses and found them terribly annoying on my nose. I had the lasik eye surgery a number of years ago however so haven't had to use them since.

    1. Well you can still see then :) down here it's recommended that you have your eyes tested every 2 years, but now I'm every year and eyes change each year, sometimes too soon.

  10. Nice looking specs! I have to go back to the doctor in a couple of weeks to recheck my "lazy eye' to see if I need a change to my lenses.

I find my computer glasses are never exactly correct, each time I get them. I move the screen forward, then back then forward till my eyes adjust to the computer glasses....mine are bi for computer.

  13. After about 20 years of no glasses (following LASIK surgery) I actually have four pairs of glasses right now: 1) "full-time" progressive lenses, 2) reading glasses, 3) computer glasses, which are my old reading glasses, 4) TV glasses. But I'm going to narrow that down to just #1 and #3.

  15. I like your new glasses. I need new ones myself, I have one pair for reading and computer and another, bifocal pair for out and about, because I still need to read when I'm out. Labels and such when shopping for instance. I also have prescription sunglasses, best thing I ever bought.
