Four Mile Creek, Tasmania

Some of the shacks at Four Mile Creek, and the beach, looking to the East at the Tasman Sea, the sea that's between Tasmania and New Zealand.
I have included a photo of the bush, it's in this thick bush that we went walking long ago.

  1. These photos are beautiful, a beach I'd love to visit! Especially when its warm.

WA, I nominated you for the Liebster Award. It's more like a blogger chain thing to introduce bloggers to one another. All the details are on my post of today, if you are interested.

  2. Certainly is a quiet area at this time of the year, a place to meditate??
Unfortunately I rarely if ever have time still for this meditation business - ha ha!

If the local kids had horses, it would be fun riding around the dunes
and in that sea shore vegetation.
I don't think you'd get very far on a bike.

The wave breaker line looks very tranquil,
does this area produce good surfing conditions in
    the summer months.
Cheers from Day 1 of bloody winter.

    1. If one is into meditation, would be a nice place....the locals might look at you weirdly though.
Have never seen anyone on a horse there whilst staying...no sign of droppings etc.
Yes, they do surf there sometimes but not often or many, there is a strong undertow there.

    1. Thanks. Seems I always have lots of sea photos, but that's expected seeing we are surround by the sea..

  5. Off season beach scenes are very appealing. Yours to explore as you will. Lovely!

    1. Even in the summer there are not many people on that beach....it's not the best for little ones to swim, even anyone due to the strong undertow.

    1. That's how Tasmania is, beautiful.
We are home at the moment & hopefully head off next week for a few days. It's good to test the new caravan before we leave for a 3 months away travelling Australia.
