Mt. Barrow

The two photos were taken on top of Mt. Barrow about 40 minutes drive from where I live.
Not often is there snow on the mountain because it's not high enough or cold enough.  The TV towers are also on this small mountain.  This is about the second time I have ever seen snow, and as you can see it's not very deep at all.  These photos were taken a couple of years ago.  I thought it might help to keep us cooler by looking at snow in our hot summer time.

  1. I think perhaps you are right it does chill you down. Do you think that your hot photos will have the same effect on me, but warm me up instead?!!!

  2. Are you experiencing exceptionally hot temps for this time of year? I just read today that Sydney had cracked a record yesterday with 115F!

    1. Seems many areas of Australia are hot this year...that was really hot for Sydney, and lot of places have been and are hotter than it was that day. Even the Capital city where I live had over 40degC one day recently.
I can remember summers being this hot years ago.

    1. Jo-Anne, we don't get snow either it's just a bit on the little mountain, and it only snows there when it's really cold. Where I live, in the city we get no snow at all in winter.
